After all, when the world’s most stylish people flock together, you can expect a heap-load of outfit inspiration that makes you go "Now why didn’t I think of that?". The streets of NYC this week are particularly colorful as no one shies away from big, bold hues. One way to wear colors without being overwhelmed by them is to ground a shade you’ve chosen with neutral colors like white, brown, black, or dark blue.
With the biting wind still blowing, it’s important to have a coat that’s able to keep you warm while helping you make a bold statement at the same time. To do so, look for textured and patterned ones.
Colored puffer coats are a popular choice, but if you’re looking for something a little daring, why not consider something with prints or a little more texture?
Equally important as coats, shoes are what keep you comfortable. With spring still a couple of days (or weeks) away, boots are the obvious choice to keep your feet snug and warm. But if you’re constantly on your feet rushing for events and appointments one after another, consider slipping into a pair of sneakers or running shoes. Ultra-comfy and chunky, they give you fashion points while not compromising on comfort. Pair them with boldly patterned or vibrant-hued socks for a nice contrast.
